Tell us about your professional interests other than your specialization:
- “I am deepening my knowledge of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), which helps to establish effective interaction with patients and their families during the correction of speech disorders. I specialize in the restoration of speech after neurological diseases (after strokes, traumatic brain injuries, neoplasms), in particular, aphasia (impaired ability to speak and understand speech after a stroke or injury) and dysarthria (impaired pronunciation due to weakness or malfunction of the muscles of the speech apparatus). I use a neuropsychological approach, a methodology that combines the restoration of speech and cognitive functions (memory, attention, thinking) for comprehensive rehabilitation. When working with children, I use neuropsychological techniques that help to effectively develop speech and overcome difficulties in pronunciation and communication.”
Hobbies, favorite movies, books:
- “Correct speech is not only about beautiful pronunciation, but also about expressing thoughts clearly. Regular exercises and support from a specialist will help improve your speech and confidence in communication.”
